Welcome
About me.
I was born and raised in South Africa, where I completed my degree and training in Clinical Psychology. I am an expat and Psychologist registered with The Netherlands Institute of Psychologists (NIP) as well as The Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
I am currently practicing both online & in The Netherlands.

I was originally trained in South Africa and after a few years of experience working in hospitals and psychiatric institutions there, I made the big move to Amsterdam, bringing my private practice with me. I have always been drawn to understanding the depths of human thought and feeling, and through my work as a psychologist I have experienced that helping people understand their own minds, allows them to live more meaningful, richer and peaceful lives.
I work with a variety of concerns, including low mood and depression, anxiety (such as difficulty making decisions, panic attacks, performance anxiety, and obsessive thoughts or behaviors), relationship difficulties (whether with partners, family, or friends), grief and bereavement, eating disorders, and personal growth for those feeling stuck or seeking deeper self-understanding.
My aim is to provide a supportive and collaborative space where you can explore, heal, and move forward. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs — whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply looking for deeper understanding and change. I believe therapy is a space where you can reconnect with your strengths and find new ways to move forward.
Therapy is not a one-size fits all!
I recognize that every individual brings a unique set of experiences, challenges and strengths to therapy. An Integrative Approach based on personalized treatment planning and client-centred collaboration provides a framework through which I am able to appreciate the complexities of human experiences and support my clients in achieving their goals.

An Integrative Approach combines elements of different theoretical frameworks and modalities within psychology such as, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic approaches, mindfulness approaches and more, to tailor therapy methods that best suit the client's needs and goals.
